Kanthal wire is high temperture wire often used for decorative additions to ceramics. It can be fired with the clay. Be mindful that while clay continues to shrink through the firing process, wire does not. Although it can be fired up to cone 10, if using it for structural purposes we recommend low-fire as maximum temperature.
