ABF Ceramic Decals are printed with specially formulated CMYK ceramic toners. We transform your digital image into photorealistic ceramic transfers that, when applied to a ceramic object and refired, will become a part of the ceramic surface.
Our toners are considered food-safe because they are lead and cadmium free. By eliminating the lead and cadmium, our decals are not limited to certain uses. If you can imagine it, you can do it.
The harmful ingredients that are often used in the making of decals happen to be essential to making the color red. Therefore, in order to offer food-safe decals we work with magenta as our red. This means that our red will never be a true red. With that said, we can print the thousands of combinations made from a CMYK toner set (cyan, magenta, yellow and black).
